Spirit Medicine - The Heart

How are your manifesting skills? About 2 weeks ago, I manifested this anthracite heart. More on that in a bit, but for now, the spirit medicine behind the Heart symbol.
The transition of the heart from a biological organ to a stylized symbol began thousands of years ago, beginning not with human anatomy, but with botany. In antiquity, the heart shape was frequently used to represent the seeds or leaves of specific plants. In the 6th century BCE, the city-state of Cyrene used the symbol on its currency to represent the seedpod of the silphium plant, a now-extinct giant fennel used as an aphrodisiac and contraceptive. At the same time, the Greeks and Romans used heart-shaped ivy and vine leaves in art to symbolize fidelity and the god Dionysus, creating the first link between the heart shape and the meaning of passion and devotion.
The formal connection between the symbol and the human organ didn't solidify until the Middle Ages. Early medical understanding, influenced by Aristotle and Galen, incorrectly described the heart as a three-chambered organ shaped like an inverted pine cone or a pear. This shape influenced medieval artists, who began depicting the heart as tapering to a point. One of the earliest known examples of the heart representing romantic love appears in a 13th-century French manuscript, Roman de la poire (Romance of the Pear), where a suitor kneels and offers his heart—depicted as a pine-cone-like shape—to his lady.
By the 15th and 16th centuries, the symbol evolved into the familiar "scalloped" version we recognize today. The introduction of playing cards in France standardized the red heart as one of the four suits, spreading the icon across Europe. Concurrently, the Catholic Church embraced the "Sacred Heart" as a powerful devotional image, often depicted with a central dent and radiating light to symbolize divine love. This combination of events resulted in the "❤️" as the universal shorthand for emotion, sincerity, and romance.
The spiritual message of finding a heart-shaped object in your path is often interpreted as a "wink from the universe," serving as a synchronous reminder that you are loved, supported, and headed in the right direction. This can act as a prompt to shift your frequency from worry to gratitude, or it can mean that a period of emotional healing is currently unfolding in your life.
About 2 weeks ago, while walking on the beach, I started collecting pieces of anthracite that I use in my practice to remove negative energy. Out of nowhere (meaning my intuition or my guides), I thought, "Wouldn't it be cool if I found a piece of anthracite in the shape of a heart? I've never seen one." I walked only about 20 or 30 feet, looked down, and there was this heart-shaped piece of anthracite (see photo). Wow!
Looking up the meaning and message, it's clear to me that Spirit wanted me to know that I am supported and loved. I only asked briefly about a heart-shaped stone and, moments later, it appeared. ❤️❤️❤️
Happy Valentine's Day, all!
